What do i need to connect my LG tv to my 2.1 surround?

I bought a 42 “plamsa and can’t hear the tv through the system of home cinema.” its fine dvd read but if im watch a movie on tv, then no going home theater sound only th tv speakers. I purchased leads av without joy! It is so boring!
Ideas are welcome… someone has suggested an optical cable connection…. This would be the response

what tv would you buy if you were me?
I’m searching for lg tv LED, 55lh90 is a tv, contrary to the lit border LED backlit. the price of this tv begins to shoot due to a demand, but has excellent buy on sale now for 1999.99. I love advertising, but were their templates initial duct on the Board and you can actually see the lights around the edges, I do not like. 8500 series advertising only came out with is new, but “the version as 4 k immediately (which is typical of new releases).” 55 If I would expect and buy sale LG front better buy ends or wait for advertising 8500 to fall in the price (and risk having to pay 2300-700 for the lg if the price cannot fall heavily on the advertising)?

Is The LG 42″ 120hz 70,000:1 2.7ms 42LH40 A Good Tv To Get?
I have been searching for seriously about a month looking for the best tv that has it all that is under $1000. I have searched every online store with ever search query possible from 1000:1 to 7,000,000:1 contrast to 60hz to 240hz refresh rate from 8ms to 2ms response time. Now you dont need to tell me about tvs im not a dumbass lol, I know everything there is to know about tvs and all the good nand bad brands and how they work ect ect. My question is that even tho this is LG’s lowest priced tv considering they have LED and 240hz. Do you still think it will be a good quality tv since LG is second best tv to get.Here are specs.
Contrast Ratio – 70,000:1 Dynamic
Refresh Rate – 120hz TruMotion
Response Time – 2.7ms
One concern is the response time, Monitors have as low as 2ms and there not 42″ and I have seen lcd tv’s with 2.2. My question is, Will I seen any lag or anything like that.
And my other issue (not really an issue) is that the the tv is only 70,000:1 and the new led’s have 2-3-5-7,000,000:1. But then again I hear people online having 50,000:1 and say the picture is awesome. So im very confused.
My last little thing is with 120hz. It sound awesome, But people say it feels unmovie like, To me seeing a mkovie smooth and lag free seem good, But if you have 120hz let me know if itsb a good or bad thing.

Sharp AQUOS LC52LE700UN vs Samsung UN55B6000, which to buy?
Discussed for some time now and can ‘ t decide. Two TV are 1080p 120 Hz and uses the LED technology.
Samsung advantages: 55 “(3″plus_tranchants), disadvantages surprisingly SUPER thin, color key: on $ 500 more dear. ” “Its a SAMSUNG, South Korean society is overrated medium and for any reason absolutely identical best brands at prices.” Search, I read some problems after 14 months with the TV. Line bottom, TV seems much better than all other TV, when im to store there really are, but only don ‘ t know if brand is safe.
Net benefits: I have had several Sharp TV and electronics before, are very reliable (my microwave oven is sharp sexy 23 years). Much cheaper price. Other brand makes a LED TV (I saw a sony on amazon, but the price was crazy).
Against; TV is not 1. “final as Samsung.” 2 Television in General doesn ‘ t seen as good (im not to mention the actual image).
IM wants to go to the store are test and compare the actual image, but are didn ‘ t get the opportunity to find the sharp has led the last time there the image of the Samsung LED was incredible, but for every adjacent to…
